The renaissance fair in Kansas City is one of the coolest things we have going for us.

When Chasity messaged me about setting up her session I was already pumped. Photographing boudoir veterans is fun because they know what to expect and are generally so unch fun and are down to have so much fun. When Chasity came in for her boudoir session she let me know she was the Merry Widow for the KC Ren Fest and I was shook.

Chasity told me that a huge part of her job is just flirting with festival guests and it suits her personality perfectly. She is flirty, funny, and fabulous. So much of the session was catching her in between shots just sitting there singing to herself and dancing. (Something I very much identify with)

Chasity is very much someone I think everyone could learn a lot from. She’s been a wonderful self advocate and she’s very true to herself. We talked tons about her job and her surgeries up until this point. That includes having her spine fused to support her breasts from having issues her whole life. Plus, only days after our session she had to have another major surgery. She was up being the maid of honor for her best friend’s wedding soon after that as well. This woman does it all.

I even got the pleasure of working with her best friend for a mentor session I did recently and you can tell how good of a friend Chasity is to her as well. It’s amazing meeting people through their friends. Honestly, it’s even more amazing to listen to what they say when their friend isn’t around. It’s clear Chasity is a rare and precious gem.
