Seattle Boudoir Photographer | Laura B.

We have talked time and time again about the love I have for photographing other boudoir photographers. Some folks are so against it for one reason or another, but I love that I can just create. Laura (she/they), a Seattle Outdoor Boudoir Photographer inquired about a session during one of my model calls and the vibes were immaculate from the beginning.

Laura is so easy to talk to, and is very effortlessly giving and funny. We’ve maintained a friendship since her session earlier this year and I am so grateful to have found another photographer I connect with so much!

All of her pieces came from Thistle & Spire who goes up to a 3X/size 22-24.

What were you the most nervous about?

The vibes! It is so vulnerable to trust a stranger with my own body journey. I was worried it might be awkward or that we wouldn’t vibe or something that would make me feel uncomfy or awkward

Why did you choose Good Bodies for your boudoir session?

I’ve been following for years! It’s always been a dream. You have such a gorgeous style, it’s dreamy yet vivid and it’s powerful yet so sexy and soft. I love how you’ve posted more of your personality online & I felt confident that you could create dreamy fucking photos. And I want to support your business! Getting boudoir done often is so important to me so it was an honor to support you specifically with this one.

What was your favorite part about the session?

Our vibes! It was fun talking shit, giggling and whenever you hyped me up and showed me the images. Boosted my Leo ego. Also loved how we moved at the pace that was needed. It didn’t feel rushed and I left feeling confident we created gorgeous art in the time we had.

What advice do you have for folks who want to book their own session?

If you’re curious, do it. You’re worth the investment. You’re worth the time. You’re worth having artwork that lasts. Bodies change so much and Tay was such a dream to work with! They made me feel seen, heard, emphasized how powerful I felt, and hyped me all the way up. I came in feeling uncomfortable in my body – especially after flying and experiencing the anti-fatness there hello – but I left feeling incredibly different about my body. I felt SO present in my body, appreciative of my body and just felt sexy as hell. Cannot recommend enough.
