Okay, so Amber is a talented photographer, impressive traveler, and… secret opera singer? Amber is yet another friend that Twitter had the privilege of bringing me. I sold her my camera on my millionth brand switch from Nikon to Sony and then later when I needed someone to head to a wedding with me last year, she stepped in willing and capable.

On that wedding party bus, under her breath, I heard the voice of a secret angel. That’s when Amber told me she’s an Opera singer? Like? In actual real life? I love learning my friends’ niches but honestly never thought I’d get to check that off on my “badass friend” bingo card.

She and her husband-to-be are big movers and shakers and have recently found their home in Las Vegas. She also travels, so if you’re looking for a wedding photographer and for some reason don’t love me enough already, hire Amber. She’s killing it.

I’ve been sitting on these for a few months because she wanted to deliver them to her fiancé and honestly I was so excited to show you this damn magic but also was waiting to hear how much he loved them. It should be no surprise to anyone that they were an absolute hit.

What made you nervous coming into this experience?

I have really bad body dysmorphia so I see myself much more negatively than others do. I was worried about not “looking” the way I wanted to.

Why did you choose Good Bodies?

The entire foundation of Good Bodies fights against everything my mental disorder tells me. I literally could not have asked for a better person to help me through the journey of self-love.

What was your favorite part about your session?

I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Hair, makeup, outfits, posing – all of it was taken care of for me. It was truly a luxury experience.
