Good Bodies Pool Party

Howdy, y’all! We had our first fucking event! The Good Bodies Pool Party was a success. Like, from what I heard. I was too busy being extremely overwhelmed and making sure everyone was having a good time to know that 100%, but from what I hear? We crushed it.

The event was catered by our good ole friends at Chipotle for ease of everyone’s dietary restrictions. We found the Campbell Dome House on Peerspace through a fellow friend in the wedding industry. I gifted all of our attendees with our new official Good Bodies candle scent, Vicious Trollop, through Embers Candle Bar in Lee’s Summit. The amazing Corissa from Fat Girl Flow and Brittany Tilander came and spoke to us.

My favorite part of the evening was watching folks mill about, make new friends, and connect when I heard countless times their spouses wanted them to come home with a new friend. There was also a clothing exchange and while so many people went home with cute items… So many also ended up donated.

This was our first Good Bodies event, but I’m surely hoping it won’t be the last. Make sure you join the Facebook Group so that you can weigh in on future events!
