Look for the Helpers | Liv’s Boudoir Session

Recently, we had a real good conversation about how a lot of the Good Bodies clients are helpers. You’ve heard the saying, right?

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news,” Rogers said to his television neighbors, “my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”

Mr. Rogers

I’ve always wanted to be a helper, I have surrounded myself with helpers, and I will forever want to be a better helper. Liv is a badass therapist who is making this world a better place. She is bubbly, she is lovely, she is someone everyone should know.

I love the thought that the Good Bodies mission is attracting these folks. It lets me know I am doing something right.

What were you the most nervous about for your session?

Probably the shear vulnerability of shedding the clothes, and worrying about the ‘fits to wear. Having not worn much lingerie as a whole and not sharing my body with many people, I wanted to challenge myself. And I’m so glad I did!

Why did you choose Good Bodies for your session?

I had a friend tell me to follow on insta and Facebook. I saw so many beautiful captured, but was most definitely sold when I learned about Tay’s trauma informed care.

Would you recommend Good Bodies to a friend?

Duh.

What was your favorite part about your session?

Laughing, dancing, and all together feeling badass.

Do you have any advice for those looking to have their own session?

Take the leap! You don’t need an occasion to accept and appreciate your body. Just do it!
